Ability-to-Benefit
Recognizing that some adult learners may not have the educational background normally required for admission but are highly motivated individuals, The Kaleo Institute may consider admission on an individual basis. Any such student who has not completed secondary education may enroll under the conditions of the Ability- to-Benefit provision. This provision requires that the student demonstrate to the Admissions Committee a capability of doing collegiate work and benefiting from it. The student must work closely with the academic advisor in course selection and complete each class with a “B” or above. The number of students accepted into the Ability-To-Benefit Program is strictly limited.
General guidelines for admissions under the Ability to Benefit option are as follows:
Students with 120+ hours of undergraduate work can be admitted to the Master of Ministry degree program, but must complete 7 hours of course work with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
