OTS 333 The Life of David
This course will follow the life of David from the time he was anointed by Samuel until his death. Attention will be given to the major developments of his life and how God providentially trained, protected and provided for him. David had seasons of great faith and seasons of disturbing doubt. He had moments of courage and moments of cowardice. He enjoyed great victories and suffered humiliating defeats. There is much we can learn from his journey. He was the greatest leader Israel has ever known. What qualities did he possess that made him an incredible leader?
New Testament Studies
NTS 101 New Testament Survey I
A panoramic view of New Testament messages, doctrines, personalities, and problems of interpretation. This course encourages the student to mature spiritually as the scriptural principles discussed are put into practice in relationships with God, others, and oneself.
NTS 102 New Testament Survey II
A panoramic view of New Testament messages, doctrines, personalities, and problems of interpretation. This course encourages the student to mature spiritually as the scriptural principles discussed are put into practice in relationships with God, others, and oneself. (pre-requisite NTS 101)
NTS 211 Romans
A practical study of Paul’s letters to the Romans dealing with the background of the book and its relation to the rest of the Pauline writings. Attention is given to understanding theological terms and concepts as “flesh,” “Spirit,” and “law” in the epistle.

This course is designed to cover the fundamental doctrines of Christ written in Hebrews as well as give a comprehensive overview of the early church creeds.
THE 230 Biblical Hermeneutics
A study of the science and laws of Biblical exegesis and interpretation. The principles, methods, and rules by which the meaning of Scripture may be ascertained are examined.
THE 310 Theology of Forgiveness
This course will be a theological study of Christian forgiveness. The course will examine in detail the biblical meaning and process of forgiveness. In addition the class will look at the role of confession and repentance as it leads to reconciliation. The study will approach the subject from a number of credible perspectives including Scripture from both the Old and New Testaments, ancient history, and the challenges of contemporary traumas.
THE 362 Apologetics
A Study of the defense of the faith, particularly from the standpoint of the authority of the Bible and historical evidences of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
PTH 301 Leadership Principles
This course is designed to increase the student’s knowledge of the theoretical aspects of leadership and of administrative roles within the Church. Secular and Christian ideas of leadership are examined and applied to Christian education in the local church.
